Meet Lissette!

Lissette Hollingsworth

Meet Lissette, Office Manager and Executive Assistant to Dave Bertoncini, Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer, since April 14, 2014.

After spending some time as a flight attendant, Lissette parlayed her stress-management and organizational skills into work as an event planner. Knowing Lissette from her event planning role, it didn’t take long for Dave Bertoncini to attempt to recruit Lissette to Flagship. But it was no easy task: It took an entire year before Lissette agreed to take-on a part-time position. Before she knew it, that part-time job was a full time career.

In her own words:

I started working at Flagship as a part-time administrative assistant one day a week, managing calendars, coordinating travel, assisting with expense approvals and assisting in all departments. Within a very short time frame I was a full-time employee, coordinating a building remodel and renovation, and managing calendars for executives and SVPs.

My current role is Executive Assistant to Dave Bertoncini and Office Manager, which includes facilitating building remodels and everyday office management along with supporting the Sales Team and planning all of their dealer and team events.

I use my prior event planning experience to support the sales department by planning and executing three Divisional Meetings in Phoenix, Dallas, and Orlando as well as the National Sales Meeting in Las Vegas and The Admiral’s Club Incentive Trip. One of my proudest Flagship moments (so far!) was negotiating four free nights in a $40,000 per night suite at the Palms Resort in Las Vegas for Jeff Haymore, Flagship EVP of Sales, during the 2015 National Sales Meeting.

In addition to event planning, I manage all the moving pieces of our building remodels. Since we’re growing like crazy, there’s a constant stream of remodeling projects! I facilitate the whole process from securing the office space and working with contractors, to choosing carpet and overseeing the installation of office furniture.

I spend my time assisting Dave, supporting the sales department and overseeing building projects, it’s a lot of work -but I absolutely love it!

It’s fun to come to work. I never know what’s going to fall in front of me on any given moment since it changes every day. The people at Flagship are really nice, they make it fun. There’s never been a day when I wake up and think, “I don’t want to come to work today.” The time just flies by. I’m grateful for all the opportunities.
