Meet Sophorn, who has been with Flagship since September of 2019. Sophorn’s positive attitude, willingness to help, and desire to create welcoming atmospheres have shaped her role at Flagship into a meaningful career.
In her own words:
I started my Flagship career in September of 2019. I am currently the Administrative Assistant at the Coppell, Texas location. I graduated in 2007 from University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts in General Studies. I have a background in event coordinating, office management for Farmers Insurance, and served as a Department Manager for Zara, a leading international merchandise retailer. Having a positive attitude, willingness to help, and creating a welcoming atmosphere are daily goals for me!
At Flagship, I provide administrative support for many areas including the Executive Team, Loan Servicing, Credit, Bankruptcy, Title Management, IT, HR, and Customer Service. I have been able to assist with an assortment of events and associate engagement activities both at the local facility and virtual environments. The most notable experience I have had at Flagship had to be my involvement in successfully moving the Texas facilities from the Irving location to our current Coppell location. This was exciting and laid the foundation for me to function in an essential role during the pandemic.
Every day at Flagship is different for me; I love the fact that every day provides new challenges. I am often the point person for our clients, new hires, and vendors at our facility. That interaction truly matters! It is my priority to create a positive welcoming experience for everyone who walks into our building. I also make sure everyone has what they need to feel safe and comfortable in this work environment.
Flagship is my home away from home. My coworkers are truly the best and most helpful team. I have been able to build a strong mutual respect from someone in all departments, and I am grateful for my work family!
I think Oprah Winfrey said it best, “Real integrity is doing the right thing knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not!” As a mom of two young elementary children, I think leading by example is the key to being the best role model. Having full integrity is the most important attribute for success!
