Meet Stephanie, Talent Development Partner who has been with Flagship since June 6, 2016. After starting at Flagship as a Loan Servicing Representative, it didn’t take long for Stephanie to use the knowledge and tools she gained to kick off the next chapter in her career on the training team.
In her own words:
I’ve been with Flagship for almost five years now and am currently a Talent Development Partner. When I first started at Flagship, I was an early-stage Loan Servicing Representative, and from there, I moved through the different stages of collections. My passion for teaching is what led me to my current role as a Talent Development Partner. So when a position became available in the department, I jumped at the opportunity to join the training team!
Now, in Talent Development, I am using my loan servicing experience to train incoming new hires in the Loan Servicing Department, which I find so rewarding. I am most passionate about training Loan Servicing new hires. I want to make sure they get the best training and tools possible so that they are prepared to do their jobs effectively and efficiently. I know from experience what it will take for them to succeed in their new roles and I love sharing that knowledge with them!
What I love about Flagship is that it has given me the opportunity to grow within the Company. I love that Flagship has made it a priority to dedicate time to foster a welcoming environment of diversity and inclusion. I also cannot forget the Human Resources team and its leadership. They are supportive, they uplift, and they encourage.
Of all of Flagship’s Core Values, the one that represents me the most is Trust. Without trust, there can be no relationship, whether it’s personal or professional. In business or personal relationships, people must be confident that you are going to do what you say you are going to do. Trust helps to foster long-lasting relationships, and in an organization, it improves productivity and morale. It’s one of the many reasons I feel Flagship has been so successful, especially during the pandemic. The best advice I was given at the start of my career is that you are not always going to be able to please everyone, but you must always be honest and fair. Trust plays a large role in this.
