Meet Xavier!

Headshot of Xavier Hernandez

Meet Xavier Hernandez, Funding Supervisor in the Tempe office, who has been with Flagship since August 2018. Xavier’s passion for learning and supporting others has helped him advance his career while creating an enriching environment for his team members.

In his own words:

I started with Flagship just over 4 years ago as a funding analyst, and am now one of the funding supervisors in our Tempe office. One of the many things that led me to this position is my passion for learning and sharing knowledge with others to set them up for their success. Professionally, I have previous experience in an automotive dealership, where I worked my way up from lot attendant to assistant biller. In my time there, I learned many valuable things that I can apply in my current role.

Throughout my time at Flagship, I have had many enjoyable experiences, but one of my favorites is getting to experience the yearly sales meetings. It is wonderful to spend time together with the rest of the service triangle team to be in tune with how we work, improve our communication, as well as build close relationships.

I am passionate about being able to help people by sharing best practices. I always want to know and find out how or why something is done, which I think is a great asset for me as a leader and in helping my team or anyone that comes to me with a question. If I do not know personally, I will seek the answer because chances are, I also want to know!

The thing I like most about Flagship is the community atmosphere that we have and how attentive everyone is to each other’s voices. Whether a team member or a leader brings something to attention, it is always heard, and there is a plan executed to move forward.

Doing the right thing, to me, is about integrity in actions. Most are familiar with the phrase “actions speak louder than words,” I take that into account every time an issue is presented. Being open in the thought process on what can be done shows transparency and displays commitment to maintaining integrity during the process of the solution or response.
