Searching for the right internship during the school year or finding the perfect career after college may seem overwhelming. When many opportunities are available, finding and choosing the right fit can take a great deal of time and effort. That’s why Flagship is excited to share its new partnership with WayUp, an online job site that helps current college students or recent graduates search for internships and job opportunities. The platform also provides candidates a platform to be discovered by employers. Students and graduates start by creating a WayUp profile, where they can tell potential employers about their educational background, work experience, interests, and more. The site features a “job matchmaker” that allows users to find jobs that match their profile and particular interests. Opportunities are then displayed on the user’s dashboard, specific to the jobs and industries the user is interested in.

WayUp is one of the only job platforms that has candidates self-report their race/ethnicity, gender, and veteran status. As part of Flagship’s diversity and inclusion efforts in recruiting, the WayUp platform allows employers like Flagship to note the demographic information of the candidate pool and identify areas where there may be opportunity to enhance diversity goals.

WayUp also provides career advice on job interviews, and how to succeed in an entry-level role. It offers advice on the application process, including tips for writing resumes and cover letters, as well as articles containing expert guidance and recommendations on a variety of topics. The site also features an Employer Resource center, where there is information on virtual recruiting, D&I hiring, and more.
